If they know not of their own beauty
Then I will tell them how so very they are
But how to define such a thing to those without vision
With no concept of the colours upon which I depend?
I will tell them then that it is a joy
Beyond all that is visible in light
And that seeing is not nearly enough
To fully grasp the weight of sensation carried
I will tell them also that beauty should be shared
Beauty in day and in the darkness of night
Otherwise a smile in vain is for no one at all
An allure lost to the blind when its essence is false
